Roles and Responsibilities: Maintains the Train Management & Control (TMAC) and Positive Train Control (PTC) systems with an emphasis on network and Linux Administration. Configure and maintain Cisco switches (VLANs, Trunks, SPAN ports) and Cisco ASA Firewalls (Site-to-site VPNs, ACLs, and NAT translation). Write Python code for database maintenance and problem solving/investigation. Provide support for TMAC/PTC end users. Flexible to work varied schedules as directed and available to respond on short notice if needed. Education, Experience, and Qualifications : Minimum: Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or related area, from US Department of Education, accredited college, or university. One (1) year of closely related experience can be substituted for each year of education required.
