The ideal candidate will be responsible for investigating and developing commercial cases, handling incoming calls from potential new clients, and ensuring the ethical and legal obligations of all subordinates.Job Duties:Investigate and develop commercial casesAccept incoming calls from potential new clients (PNC’s)Ascertain relevant facts and discuss all aspects of PNC’s claimsSecure authorization to sign up, decline, or further evaluate claimsExplain attorney-client contracts and sign up cases in and out of the officeCover on a rotational basis for client meetings and out-of-office sign-upsProvide one letter per client/month minimum to update clients on the status of their mattersAddress/return all client calls by the end of the business dayEnsure 100% compliance on grade cards and maximize case values and attorney fees recoveredAdditional projects as assigned, ensuring strong initiative and attention to detailRequirements:JD must be licensed in Texas and good standing0-3 years of Personal Injury experienceStrong commitment to client service and excellent writing skillsWorking on cross-functional teams and previous customer service/sales experience preferredPrevious experience supervising non-attorneysBilingual Spanish a plusEducation and Certifications:Juris Doctor (JD) degreeMust be licensed to practice law in Texas and in good standingSkills:Excellent management and leadership skillsDetail-oriented with effective communication and delegation abilitiesCustomer service-oriented with high emotional intelligence and energySales skills with the ability to relate the unique features and benefits of the law firmMulti-tasking, time management, and the ability to organize and prioritize workMust have the ability to motivate and energize support staff under his/her supervision to generate the best results for clients and the organizationMust be approachable and can communicate with employees with professionalismBenefits Offered:Paid vacation, all-purpose leave, and holidays401(k) plan with a 4% match and immediate vestingMedical coverage with 80% employer contributionDental, vision, and supplemental insurance are availableCareer growth opportunities and employee recognition programsGym membership and company events, including community involvementRelocation expense reimbursement The firm has 60 attorneys working in the areas of product liability, accidents, workplace injuries, dangerous drugs, business and consumer and child injuries.
