Lab Technician needs 3 years (or more) of demonstrated laboratory experienceLab Technician requires:3 years (or more) of demonstrated laboratory experienceComputer literate in Microsoft Office productsword, excel and PowerPointAbility to understand and follow experimental protocols for preservation of dataComfortable and able to work with hazard chemicals while following safe laboratory practices/protocolsThe ability to stand while working in the laboratory throughout most of the day.Associates or Bachelor's degree in a technical fieldLab Technician duties:Evaluate, collect and record dataParticipates in organizing and performing experiments using established procedures while summarizing and reporting results in a electronic laboratory notebookUses a computer to enter data/information including charts and tables for communication of project results/detailsInvolved in making adhesives from chemical ingredientscalibration and equipment maintenanceTests performance characteristics of substrates using established procedures.
