The CTIA Associate Attorney will primarily focus on copyright and trademark litigation matters, including conducting research, drafting discovery documents, preparing substantive memoranda, and participating in court hearings and depositions. Duties:Conducting legal research on copyright and trademark issuesDrafting discovery documentsPreparing substantive memorandaParticipating in court hearings and depositionsHandling trademark prosecution tasksProviding copyright and trademark counselingAddressing Internet-related IP issuesDrafting pleadings and memoranda of law Requirements:2-4 years of experience in copyright and/or trademark litigationAdmission to the New York Bar or eligibility to obtain admission promptly Preferred Experience:Familiarity with trademark prosecutionExperience in copyright and trademark counselingKnowledge of Internet-related IP issuesProficiency in drafting pleadings and memoranda of law Education:Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school Certifications:New York Bar admission or eligibility to obtain admission promptly Skills:Strong interest in and understanding of copyright, trademark, and related issuesExcellent research and analytical skillsOutstanding written and verbal communication skillsExperience with written and oral advocacyStrong academic credentials This New York law firm has practice areas that are grouped into six broad categories: bankruptcy, intellectual property, interdisciplinary, litigation, tax planning and transactional.
