ObGyn physician employment in Louisiana : A well-established healthcare system in southern Louisiana is seeking a qualified OB/GYN physician for locum tenens coverage starting in mid-June. Qualifications: Board-certified or board-eligible in Obstetrics & Gynecology Active Louisiana medical license DEA certification required Cases & Procedures: Deliver comprehensive obstetrical care, including routine and a very limited number of high-risk pregnancies Perform labor & deliveries, C-sections, and a variety of in-office gynecological procedures Emergency privileges are available Schedule: Sporadic coverage for vacation and other coverage needs Night in-house call (5 pm-6 am) or 24-hour in-house call (sleep time provided) Mix of inpatient and outpatient care Practice Setting: Join a 54-bed women's facility within an elite group of health systems Collaborate with skilled professionals including neonatologists, anesthesiologists, nurse practitioners, and medical assistants Paragon EMR system utilized Location: Just a two-hour drive east, Houston, Texas, beckons with its booming economy, world-class museums, and exciting cultural scene Head two hours east to Lafayette, the heart of Cajun culture.
