What You'll DoWe are looking for a Sales Representative in our Group Benefits area. In this role, you'll partner closely with the broker community throughout the Michigan territory to sell group employee benefit products (life, dental, disability, vision, critical illness). Our mission, integrity, and customer focus have made us a trusted leader for more than 140 years!Who You Are * Bachelor's degree or 8 years of equivalent experience required. * 2+ years related sales experience (group life, disability, dental, vision preferred). * Must have appropriate Life & Health licensing. * Excellent planning/interpersonal, problem-solving, analytical, presentation, listening, oral and written communication skills required. * Must have time management and decision-making skills. * Advanced math skills are necessary, related to graphs, symbols, equations, etc. * Must be accurate and detail oriented. * Ability to maintain confidentiality is crucial. * Travel required (up to 50%), including minimal overnight stays. * Non-solicitation agreement required upon hire.Salary Range InformationThis position offers a competitive compensation package consisting of a base salary combined with incentive earnings. The base salary will provide financial stability, while the incentive component offers additional earning potential based on performance metrics. Salary Range (Non-Exempt expressed as hourly; Exempt expressed as yearly)$40000 - $250000 / year Time Off ProgramFlexible Time Off (FTO) is provided to salaried (exempt) employees and provides the opportunity to take time away from the office with pay for vacation, personal or short-term illness. Employees don't accrue a bank of time off under FTO and there is no set number of days provided. Pension EligibleYes Additional InformationLocationThis role can be remotely located within the lower peninsula of Michigan.
