Maintenance Electrician

Description:
We are working with a national food manufacturer seeking a Maintenance Electrician to join their maintenance team. You play a pivotal role in ensuring the smooth operation of electrical systems. From maintaining machinery to troubleshooting faults, your expertise keeps the production lines humming.Key Responsibilities:Equipment Maintenance and Repair:Regularly inspect and maintain electrical equipment used in food production.Swiftly diagnose and troubleshoot faults to minimize downtime.Perform on-the-spot repairs to keep production lines running seamlessly.Electrical Installations:Install and modify electrical conduits and cables as needed.Securely mount electrical equipment for safety and functionality.Repair and install lighting systems within the facility.Working with Higher Voltage Systems:Proficiently handle higher voltage 3-phase electrical systems.Collaborate with generators to ensure backup power supply.Maintain optimal temperature conditions through HVAC units.Safety and Compliance:Follow safety protocols and adhere to state and local building regulations.Maintain records of materials used and completed work orders.Qualifications and Skills:Experience: Previous work in a food manufacturing plant is preferred.Proof of electrical proficiency within similar environment Education: High school diploma or GED.Skills:Basic computer proficiency (including Microsoft Office).Knowledge of behavior-based safety systems.Ability to lift up to 50 lbs occasionally.
