Seeking a Senior Structural Engineer for a direct hire opportunity with our client, a prominent transportation contractor specializing in the construction, rehabilitation, and maintenance of bridges, railroads, and civil structures. Embrace an enriching opportunity to work from our esteemed client's office nestled in picturesque Rosemount, MN. Relocation assistance offered!! This position offers full benefits including PTO, Medical, Dental and 401k! Salary is between $90,000 - $130,000 per year (based on experience.) As a Senior Structural Engineer, you will have the opportunity to work on various projects in heavy/highway civil construction and structural engineering.Responsibilities: Performing structural analysis and design, including reinforced and pre-stressed concrete design, steel design, timber design, deep foundations, earth retaining structures, crane pick plans/rigging, bridge deck, etc. Ensuring design compliance with applicable codes, standards, and client requirements. Preparing engineering reports, memoranda, and design submittals. Generating working/draft construction drawings. Handling additional responsibilities as required by business needs. Qualifications: 10 years of structural engineering and design, bridge experience is essential. Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or related field from an accredited institution, with a minimum. A master's degree focused on structural engineering is preferred. PE license is mandatory. Proficiency in utilizing Structural finite element analysis software tools such as MIDAS or RISA. Strong working knowledge of Excel. Familiarity with critical industry codes including IBC, ASCE 7, ACI 318, AISC Steel Specification and Construction Manual, NDS, AREMA, AASHTO, and AWS. Commitment to continued professional development for PE License. Excellent organizational skills and ability to manage multiple tasks. Exceptional written and verbal communication skills.
