Annual Compensation Range: $75,000-$100,000 Biocoat is committed to providing the best in developing, manufacturing, and applying coatings on medical devices . Our Finance team has an opportunity for a S enior Accountant . To be successful in this role, a candidate would have a minimum of five years' experience in Finance or an Accounting function and comfortable completing all of the job requirements. Responsibilities: Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual reporting. Participate in monthly close via creation of journal entries, reconciliation, and analysis of accounts Understand and explain in detail financial variances between actual results, financial forecasts, prior year results, and budgets Support the Controller with maintenance of corporate accounting policies, procedures, and internal controls to ensure conformance with US GAAP and other laws/regulations Create detailed weekly sales reports Support the Cost Accounting function Process full cycle Accounts Receivable including setup of customer accounts, generate invoices, post payments, and perform collection activities Reconcile cash and customer accounts daily Review general ledger activity for accuracy and resolve any posting issues Identify and help implement process improvements Skills & Requirements: Bachelor’s degree in Accounting required Minimum of 5 years’ experience in a Finance/Accounting Function required Experience and clear understanding of Generally Accepted Accounting Principles, general ledger, full cycle accounts receivable, and ERP systems Manufacturing industry experience highly desired Ability to maintain a high level of accuracy, attention to detail, analytical abilities and organization Proficient using MS Office Suites including Excel spreadsheets (creating pivot tables, developing charts with complex formulas) Strong written and verbal communication skills Must be a team player with the ability to have positive and effective working relationships Desire to work in a challenging environment, be able to change gears quickly, and have excellent time management skills What Biocoat Offers: Competitive salary, eligible for a discretionary bonus Benefits (medical, dental, vision, critical illness, hospital indemnity, and accident insurance) Life insurance, short- and long-term disability paid by the company 401(k) plan with an immediate company match Paid time off Education Assistance Program Rewards and Recognition Program Parental Leave Employee Assistance Program Additional benefits such as the opportunity to leave early on Friday's, business casual dress, friendly work environment, and fun company events.
