Hotel Restaurant Bartender

As a busy restaurant, we need a bartender with a positive customer service mindset who can ensure patrons have a wonderful time at the bar. Your duties will include taking customer orders, preparing a range of conventional and unique cocktails, offering beer and wine recommendations, and maintaining the cleanliness of the bar area at all times. This role requires a highly motivated individual with great organizational abilities and a customer-focused mentality. Responsibilities: • Take patron orders and deliver a variety of alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages including wine, beer, liquor, and mixed drinks• Receive payments and settle patron checks and tabs, as well as correctly record daily sales totals in point of sale system• Properly identify customers' age through identification cards, and serve alcoholic beverages following all applicable federal, state, local, and company rules and regulations• Complete all restocking and cleaning duties by performing opening and closing side work as instructed• Order necessary bar supplies, stock and keep track of all wine, liquor, and beer inventories as well as maintain a full supply of glassware and notify management of any shortages Qualifications: • Previous experience working in food service is preferred• Must have excellent communication and interpersonal skills with customers and coworkers• Displays impeccable time management and organizational skills• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent certification (GED)• Proven customer service experience with a strong patron-focused mentality Compensation: $8.50 + tips About Company: Q&C Hotel Bar New Orleans Autograph Collection is part of the Marriott Brand of Hotels as an Autograph Collection Property. *This property is a franchise property managed by Encore Hospitality.
