The Opportunity The Payroll Administrator will be responsible for processing payroll and all payroll-related duties and will work collaboratively with the controller. Must be enthusiastic with a strong work ethic. Integrity and high attention to detail are crucial for this role. Duties & Responsibilities Responsible for the hourly and salary payroll processing for a high volume, multiple sites, nonunion environment using ADP’s Work Force Now Prepare a variety of reports and remittances for payroll & benefits vendors, and government agencies (i. e. CRA, WCB, WSIB, EHT) Maintaining and updating payroll modules as needed. Reconciliation of payroll and benefits-related general ledger accounts Processing in the reconciliation and preparation of year-end tax forms Track timesheets, attendance records, overtime, vacation, leave of absence, etc. Process employee status changes in a timely manner, generating ROEs and calculate final pay. Support the performance of month-end, quarter-end and year-end payroll reconciliations. Perform other accounting duties as assigned. Skills & Qualifications Diploma in Business Administration or Accounting 2 years of full-cycle payroll experience Demonstrated ability to maintain confidentiality and to exercise discretion. .
