The ideal candidate must possess excellent academic credentials and strong writing, analytical, and communication skills. They should either be a member (in Good Standing) of the Florida Bar or willing to seek admission to the Florida Bar. The position requires 2-4 years of meaningful experience in real estate with a strong background in title and survey, easements, and leases. Duties:Provide legal counsel and support on real estate transactions related to affordable housing and tax credit projectsConduct due diligence, including reviewing title and survey documentsDraft and negotiate contracts, leases, and other legal documentsAssist with closings and financing transactionsAnalyze complex real estate issues and provide strategic advice to clientsResearch and stay updated on laws and regulations related to affordable housing and tax creditsCollaborate with other attorneys and staff on real estate matters Requirements:Juris Doctor (J.D.) degree from an accredited law schoolMember (in Good Standing) of the Florida Bar or willingness to seek admission2-4 years of meaningful experience in real estate lawStrong background in title and survey, easements, and leasesExcellent academic credentialsExceptional writing, analytical, and communication skillsAbility to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment Education:Juris Doctor (J.D.) degree from an accredited law school Certifications:Membership (in Good Standing) of the Florida Bar or willingness to seek admission Skills:Real estate transactional experienceTitle and survey reviewContract drafting and negotiationLegal research and analysisClient communication and counselingAttention to detail and accuracy This Florida-based firm represents many of the state's most successful companies and offers full-service legal representation on a statewide basis.
