The ideal candidate will have experience in financial services, contested foreclosure, and/or Illinois commercial litigation, along with strong writing and communication skills. Duties:Assume a high level of responsibility in state or federal court matters defending financial institutions in single-plaintiff litigation and appeals.Handle a variety of financial services litigation matters, including contested foreclosure cases.Conduct legal research and draft pleadings, motions, and appellate briefs.Prepare for and participate in court hearings, trials, and appellate proceedings.Communicate effectively with clients, opposing counsel, and the court.Collaborate with colleagues on case strategy and client representation. Requirements:Juris Doctor (J.D.) from an accredited law school.Admission to the Illinois Bar is required.Minimum of 3 years of litigation experience, preferably in financial services or related areas.Strong writing and communication skills.Experience with contested foreclosure cases and Illinois commercial litigation preferred. Education:Juris Doctor (J.D.) from an accredited law school. Certifications:Admission to the Illinois Bar. Skills:Experience in financial services litigation or related areas.Proficiency in drafting legal documents and appellate briefs.Strong research and analytical skills.Excellent written and verbal communication abilities.Ability to work independently and as part of a team.Detail-oriented and able to manage multiple tasks effectively.Demonstrated ability to handle high levels of responsibility in litigation matters.
