This is an extremely technical position with extensive network, IT, cybersecurity and security systems expertise required to provide field service and maintenance to our clients. Why join us? Competitive compensation packages Medical, dental, vision coverage Health reimbursement account 401(k) with company match Professional development assistance PTO program Paid federal holidays Growing firm with fantastic team and culture Job Details Responsibilities Manages, oversees, and coordinates all technology aspects for all types of projects including the most complex projects from award through completion of project, including overall technology management for successful and timely completion within budget as required by the contract Must be able to integrate technical and system security requirements, including but not limited to access control, intrusion detection systems (IDS), video surveillance systems (VSS), and duress systems, into the overall security design drawings/models, using Revit, CAD, and/or Visio; AutoCAD is preferred Translates a wide variety of customer needs requiring originality and ingenuity into detailed proposals and project plans to meet customer requirements Reviews and approves estimated costs prior to bid; provides technical assistance to sales force as and when required Prepares project schedules, subcontracts, change proposals, project invoices Proactively communicates project technology requirements to project team and wider organization and maintains accurate and up to date records of job status, job changes, material flow and other control records necessary for processing of internal and external reports Identifies potential project risks and develops/implements strategies to minimize impact and control deviations from estimated costs and project deadlines; evaluates current systems for cost reduction and product improvement. Proficient on security systems integrations, troubleshooting, and customization to ensure system deployed/managed meets or exceeds customer expectations Designs, implements, and maintains complex network, IT, and cybersecurity solutions in conjunction with project, customer, and internal requirements Manages the execution and review of all scope of work, terms and conditions in customer contracts including cost control, delivery fulfillment, and quality of service and other customer requirements as they arise Establish project milestones and analyze costs; utilizes financial systems to review actual vs. estimated job cost and to provide timely and accurate project cost reports; identify reasons for low job site productivity and determine impact on the project; adjusts or corrects project plan and/or project cost estimates as necessary to meet financial goals Writes technical reports summarizing results, recommended security solutions, risk mitigation measures, and transition to technology implementation Provides technical support to the Business Development team on proposal creation and technical responses to RFP requests Qualifications 3 to 5 years of relevant work experience is preferred; experience in Security and/or Life Safety industry Minimum 1 year of supervisory experience required Desired certifications: Genetec, Lenel, Honeywell, Hirsch, AMAG, CCNA Security, CCNA Routing & Switching, MCP, Microsoft, Cisco, CompTIA A+, CompTIA Network+, CSEIP Experience supporting commercial, DoD, and/or federal government IT infrastructure; IT infrastructure for Electronic Security Systems (ACS / IDS / VSS / Biometrics) is strongly preferred In-depth background in security technology and integration Capable of obtaining a United States Security Clearance Must be able to meet and maintain various certifications, licenses and/or registrations, in accordance with applicable state laws and as required by the electronic security regulations in the state (s) worked Must be willing to participate in and pass the company’s pre-employment screening process including a background investigation and drug screening Work Environment The position is primarily field-based with periodic visits to our Port Washington, NY headquarters.
