Practice Area: ERISA/Executive Compensation Transactions & Compliance,ERISA - General, Job Type: Attorney, Firm Type: Law Firm, Experience: 5 Years, A law firm in Sacramento is seeking an Employee Benefits Attorney with 5+ years of experience to provide counseling to employers on various ERISA and non-ERISA plans and arrangements. The ideal candidate will possess excellent written and oral communication skills. Duties:Counsel employers on ERISA and non-ERISA retirement plans, health and welfare plans, and other benefits arrangements.Provide legal advice on compliance issues related to employee benefits.Draft and review plan documents, amendments, and administrative forms.Assist clients with plan administration and regulatory filings.Stay updated on changes in employee benefits laws and regulations.Communicate complex legal concepts effectively to clients and colleagues. Requirements:Juris Doctor (J.D.) from an accredited law school.Active membership in good standing with the State Bar.Minimum of 5 years of experience in employee benefits law.Strong knowledge of ERISA and related laws and regulations.Excellent written and oral communication skills.Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team. Education:Juris Doctor (J.D.) from an accredited law school. Certifications:Active membership in the State Bar. Skills:Expertise in counseling employers on various employee benefits plans.Proficiency in drafting legal documents and providing compliance advice.Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.Ability to communicate complex legal concepts clearly and effectively.Attention to detail and ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently.Familiarity with health, dental, vision, and other benefit plans is a plus. This large, national firm does just labor and employment law, and they do it exceedingly well.
