Position Overview: We are seeking a highly motivated and skilled travel Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to join our talented team. As a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) at WTCP, you will have the opportunity to contribute to patient care and improve their outcomes. Here, customers can meet with a Health Advisor a qualified LVN/LPN who not only can answer questions about medications but also sit down in a more private format to help patients and their caregivers understand and manage ongoing health concerns, introduce them to the latest in digital health solutions, assist them in making healthy lifestyle choices and more. The locations are in and around Union City, NJ The working schedule for this role is set where the floater could be called on Monday - Friday 9 AM - 5:30 PM to pick up shifts where needed. There is a 30 minute unpaid lunch break The LPN will be helping on the front lines of the Covid19 Pandemic! This is a 6-month assignment with a strong possibility of extension The anticipated start for this role is two weeks after an accepted offer or sooner based on the onboarding speed Date: 03.11.24 | Job Number: 5333 Job Responsibilities: Oversee Health Corner activities and provide both in-store and online diagnostic devices and solutions, and assist with proper use of devices to all customers Performs gap closure activity as outlined, and escalates issues as needed Evaluates customers needs and can advocates on patients behalf to connect them to resources, services, and potential solutions related to their health condition Provides patients with education on the proper use and setup of diagnostic device (ie. Blood pressure machine, blood glucose monitors, pulse oximeter, etc). Effectively communicates with agency staff, liaisons, other Care Facility staff, patients, and family/caregivers Manages Time effectively to deliver accurate and appropriate patient care Maintains Confidentiality of patient and proprietary information Maintains a professional image Participates and attends required in services, trainings and weekly meetings Build and maintain a working relationship with the front end and pharmacy team to enhance patient engagement and experience Ensure all provided marketing, informational, and educational materials are available Ability to navigate technology to document interactions following standard procedure for Health Corner Operations Assisting patients in aisle by providing them education on OTC and first aid products, escorting patient to pharmacy for patient specific questions Maintains Health Corner space to brand standards provided by Walgreens and keeps organized records in Health space in accordance with compliance policies Upkeep functionality of technology to ensure ability to properly capture service Basic Qualifications: Must reside local to the job site to be able to commute Active LVN/LPN license by State Board of Professional Regulations At least 6 MONTHS experience as an LPN/LVN providing nursing care.
