They will prepare and draft legal documents on behalf of clients, negotiate settlements, attend court appearances, and ensure efficient case management from inception to resolution.Duties:Manage a caseload of various types of personal injury matters in litigationPrepare and draft legal documents on behalf of clients, including filing complaintsDraft meet and confer letters to opposing counsel regarding discovery disputesPrepare clients for depositions and other applicable hearingsTake and defend depositions throughout the litigationPrepare and respond to motions, including dispositive motionsAttend court appearancesPrepare for trialNegotiate settlements for personal injury casesDirect and support investigation on all assigned litigation mattersAssess potential and current matters for valuation purposes to aid in early resolutionRequirements:1-4 years of Personal Injury Law ExperienceStrong background in Personal Injury Litigation, including pre-litigation case management and discoveryBilingual (English/Spanish) preferredA Juris Doctor degree and current good standing with the CA State Bar is required.Workers' Compensation experience is a plusEducation Certifications:Juris Doctor degreeAdmission to the CA State BarSkills:Excellent communication and negotiation skillsStrong legal research and writing abilitiesAbility to manage multiple tasks and prioritize effectivelyAttention to detail and analytical thinkingProficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and legal softwareBenefits:Medical, dental, and vision insurance401(k) planComplimentary parkingPaid time offOther perks as per company policy
