The successful candidate will collaborate closely with clients to navigate patent laws, resolve disputes, and protect intellectual property assets. Duties:Draft pleadings, motions, memoranda, and correspondence for state and federal court, arbitration, and mediation proceedings.Respond to complex discovery requests and participate in all aspects of discovery.Negotiate and communicate with opposing counsel, clients, and other stakeholders.Prepare for, defend, and conduct depositions.Assist in trial preparation, including exhibit lists, motions, and witness preparation.Prepare Federal Circuit appeal briefs when necessary.Supervise and train junior associates. Requirements:6-8 years of patent litigation experience.USPTO admission preferred.Undergraduate degree in Electrical Engineering or Computer Science, or substantial experience in related disciplines.Strong academic credentials.Exceptional judgment and communication skills.Commitment to providing excellent client service. Preferred Skills:Patent trial experience.Experience with drafting and responding to pleadings.Proficiency in preparing infringement and invalidity claim charts.Familiarity with Markman and claim construction proceedings.Ability to manage patent-specific fact and expert discovery.Experience with inter partes reviews.Proficient in overall litigation strategy. Education and Certifications:JD from an accredited law school.Admission to the bar in the relevant jurisdiction.USPTO admission (preferred).
