STAND 8 provides end to end IT solutions to enterprise partners across the United States and with offices in LA, Atlanta, New York, Raleigh, and more.The role of Service Management Developer involves improving ServiceNow, addressing issues, creating and sustaining integrations, organizing the task backlog, and aiding ongoing strategic initiatives to implement or refine pertinent modules. The individual in this role is anticipated to champion the advantages of Incident, Problem, Change, Request, Knowledge Management, CMDB, and various other IT Service Management and SPM capabilities within the organization.Responsibilities * Design, develop and implement solutions on the ServiceNow platform * Customize ServiceNow application to streamline and automate processes * Build integrations to other applications within the organization as needed * Troubleshoot issues * Ensure standards, agreed architecture, design and methodology standards are adhered to * Identifies and evaluates ServiceNow features and emerging capabilities, advocating for those that will most benefit the organization financially and operationally. * Work with the IT organization to increase the health of the platform overall and implement controls to ensure proper maintenance.Requirements * Strong knowledge of ITIL framework, SPM and ITSM standards and processes. * Operational understanding of the ServiceNow Common Service Data Model (CSDM) * Direct development experience within ServiceNow, including development of Catalog Items,troubleshooting issues and implementing enhancement requests. * Scripting in JavaScript * Willing to assist in ServiceNow questions/training. * Proven expertise and having a passion for customer service. * ServiceNow platform deployment and operational experience. * Excellent time management and collaborating skills.Education * Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field AND minimum of 3 years demonstrated experience in ServiceNow development. OR; * 7+ years of any equivalent combination of experience, training, and/or education in overall IT industry and Service Management work experience. * Licensing/Certification: Certification in ITIL Foundations in Service Management (Preferred).Additional DetailsThe base salary range for this position is $120K - $138K annually, depending on experience.Our salary ranges are determined by role, level, and location. The range displayed on each job posting reflects the minimum and maximum target for new hire salaries for the position across all US locations.
