In addition, we'll fuel your passion for travel by offering Familiarization Trips and discount on personal travel.Successful candidates will have:Travel Advisor I * 2+ years of experience in Customer services or Sales * High School diploma or GED * Travel certifications in the form of a CTA or destination specialist certificate preferred Travel Advisor II * 2+ years of experience in Hospitality or Travel industry * High School diploma or GED * Travel certifications in the form of a CTA or destination specialist certificate within two years In this role, at our store location, you will: * Sell international and domestic travel packages, including cruises, flights, car, hotel, and tours * Provide excellent customer services under the AAA membership model * Recommend and sell product enhancements for the customers' trip * Address any travel-related issues or emergencies that may arise during the trip * Stay up to date on current travel trends, emerging destinations, and industry innovations Preferred Qualifications: * Associate or Bachelor's degree * Experience in travel sales and systems software WHO WE ARE:The American Automobile Association (AAA) has been a leader in roadside assistance, mobility advocacy and traffic safety for nearly 120 years, AAA Washington also operates a full-service travel agency and the largest independent personal-lines insurance agency in Washington. Placement in Level I or II is based on candidate experience. * Eligible for 11%, up to 15%, commission based on travel sales production.
