Are you a road warrior seeking traveling positions in construction?Haren Construction Company is seeking a highly motivated and experienced Traveling Site Safety Manager to oversee safety practices and protocols at multiple construction sites. With the license to work in eleven states in the southeast, this role requires extensive travel, with approximately 50 to 75% overnight travel to various project locations. This position offers a challenging opportunity for a dedicated safety professional to significantly impact the safety cultures and performance of construction projects across multiple locations. General Responsibilities: Perform site safety inspections per the ESH compliance initiatives. Implement and enforce safety programs, procedures, and practices across all construction sites. Provide safety training to employees and subcontractors on hazard recognition, fall protection, PPE usage, and other safety-related topics. Investigate accidents, incidents, and near misses to develop corrective actions to avoid future occurrences. Maintain accurate records of safety inspections, training, incidents, and other relevant data. Collaborate with project managers and superintendents to identify and ensure compliance with OSHA, EPA, and other regulatory agencies. Conduct safety audits and assessments to identify areas of improvement and strategies for risk mitigation. Serve as a resource for site personnel regarding safety-related inquiries and concerns. Work is performed outside in all types of environmental conditions. This position performs physical activities under varying and adverse field conditions. Applicants must be able to stand and walk on uneven surfaces and climb on ladders. Requirements: Bachelor’s degree in Occupational Safety & Health, Environmental Health & Safety, or a related field. Or a minimum of five years of experience in construction site safety management, preferably in a traveling or multi-site capacity. Valid driver’s license and willingness to travel extensively to various construction sites as needed. Strong knowledge of OSHA regulations and safety standards. OSHA 30 certification (OSHA 510 and CHST or CSP preferred). Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to interact effectively with diverse teams. Proven ability to prioritize tasks, manage multiple projects simultaneously, and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment. Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and other related software applications.
