The Doubletree by Hilton Washington DC North is hiring a Banquet Supervisor. Apply today to join our busy hotel! Responsibilities:• Lead the Banquet team in serving guests during banquet functions to ensure a positive guest experience.• Plan opening/closing assignments• Ensure that all public areas are neat and clean*Coordinate with banquet staff set-ups, changes, and time schedules for all functions as a banquet server; setting up, greeting, and serving the guests and breaking down the function• Inspect banquet areas at the end of the function to ensure all equipment is returned to its proper area and all areas are clean• Know the menu for each function served and be able to explain the major ingredients and preparation method for each item to be served• Perform any other job-related duties as assigned Qualifications:• Banquet Supervisor experience is required preferably in a hotel or resort• Superior communication skills to provide information and associated services to hotel management and guests• Ability to transport up to 30lbs through a crowded room on a continuous basis throughout the shift• Ability to work effectively under time constraints and deadlines• Proven team player• Must have availability to work various shifts, weekends, and holidays Compensation: $20 per hour plus gratuities About Company: Nestled in the vibrant community of Gaithersburg, our newly renovated hotel is the epitome of modern luxury and comfort.
