We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Network Engineer with a specialization in Configuration & Infrastructure to join our dynamic team. As a Senior Network Engineer, you will play a crucial role in designing, implementing, and maintaining our network infrastructure. This position requires expertise in configuring network devices, optimizing performance, and ensuring the overall stability and security of the network environment.Requirements * Looking for resources with 5+ years of hands-on Network Engineering and Administration experience. * This position will be designing, installing / configuring network and related equipment at various sites. * Cisco CCNA / CCNP, Aruba Certifications, and or BICSI RCDD preferred. * A California Driver's license, use of a car and be able to carry tools and materials weighing up to 50 pounds.Responsibilities * Installing and troubleshooting local area networks, including wireless systems and VoIP systems * Configuring a variety of networking equipment. * Performing moderately complex network management design integration with other system solutions to ensure an integrated system with automated network management capabilities. * Analyzing and solving complex networking problems. * Reviewing and evaluating IT system designs for compliance within industry standards. * Conducting site surveys and on-site assessments and preparation of design/scope-of-work (SOW) for installations. * Preparing clear and concise reports and technical documentation. * Formulating and expressing ideas clearly and effectively in writing and orally. * Setting priorities and successfully completing tasks in a timely manner. * Review site survey * Develop scopes of work * Create bill of material * Accept equipment deliveries at warehouse * Create asset workbooks * Generate e-mails of status completions * Rearranging Network equipment * Install power equipment (UPS/Stepdown Transformers) * Install and configure network switches * Install network modules * Install network cards * Install Cat6e/Fiber patch Cords * Troubleshoot LAN equipment * Maintain effective relationships with District personnel and other organizations.Additional DetailsThe base range for this contract position is $50 - $65/per hour, depending on experience.Our pay ranges are determined by role, level, and location. The range displayed on each job posting reflects the minimum and maximum target for new hires of this position across all US locations.
