Practice Area: Product Liability Defense,Litigation - Commercial, Job Type: Attorney, Firm Type: Law Firm, Experience: 8 Years, A law firm seeks a Litigation Of Counsel for its office in Austin, TX.Job Overview:The Litigation Of Counsel will be pivotal in the firm's litigation, providing expert counsel and strategic guidance. They will handle a variety of responsibilities, including client communication, supervising associates, drafting legal documents, and contributing to case strategy.Duties:Communicate effectively with clients, colleagues, and third parties.Supervise associates and guide on legal matters.Work with experts to develop case strategies.Assist with fact development and depositions.Review and draft discovery responses, briefs, motions, and memoranda.Ensure timely completion of tasks and meet deadlines.Foster positive work relationships and comply with firm policies.Engage in both physical and sedentary activities as required.Perform additional duties as assigned.Requirements:J.D. degree with bar admission.8+ years of litigation experience, preferably at an AmLaw 100 firm.A background in science (MD, MPH, PharmD, Epidemiology) is preferred.Experience in product liability and/or complex commercial litigation.Strong research, analytical, and writing skills.Experience with the pharmaceutical and medical device industry is advantageous.Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.Ability to work independently and as part of a team.Strong project management skills and attention to detail.Demonstrated ability to multitask and prioritize effectively.Education and Certifications:J.D. degree from a nationally recognized law school.Bar admission in the relevant jurisdiction.Skills:Superior research, analytical, and writing skills.Strong communication and interpersonal skills.Project management skills.Attention to detail.Ability to multitask and prioritize effectively.
