Below is a detailed job description:Job Overview:The Class Action And PAGA Attorney will be responsible for assisting in the defense of state and nationwide class actions and California PAGA representative actions. They will handle a variety of employment-related claims and represent employers in various legal proceedings.Duties:Assist in the defense of state and nationwide class actions and California PAGA representative actions involving employment-related claims.Receive training and mentorship in class action litigation, complex case handling, law and motion, discovery, and depositions.Represent employers in court, arbitrations, depositions, and mediations for employment-related class actions and representative actions.Requirements:JD from an accredited law school with exceptional academic credentials.Admission to the California Bar is required.Minimum of 3+ years of relevant experience.Experience in class and representative actions is required.Education and Certifications:Juris Doctor (JD) from an accredited law school.Admission to the California State Bar.Skills:Excellent written and oral communication skills.Strong attention to detail and commitment to excellence.Strong organizational, time management, and project management skills.Commitment to professionalism, collegiality, and teamwork.This position offers an exciting opportunity for a skilled attorney to join a dynamic team and work on challenging cases in a supportive environment.
