About the Job: The Vice President (VP) of Sales position is a critical role focusing on establishing and driving exponential revenue growth in the US market, particularly within the cybersecurity industry.Job Brief: Go-to-Market Strategy: Develop a comprehensive go-to-market strategy tailored to the US market and execute it effectively. Sales Pipeline: Create and maintain a sales pipeline to track prospects and opportunities. Sales Strategy: Develop and lead the execution of a comprehensive sales strategy to achieve revenue targets. Lead Generation: Research, initiate, and develop a network of potential leads and prospects for the company's cybersecurity solutions. Sales Approach: Take a two-pronged approach to closing deals through both direct sales efforts and channel sales partnerships. Team Building: After a successful first year, build and lead a high-performing sales team. Vision and Goals: Set and implement the team's vision, mission, KPIs, and both long-term and short-term goals. Market Monitoring: Monitor customer, partner, and competitor activity and provide feedback to the company's leadership team. Industry Engagement: Actively participate in relevant industry events and networking opportunities. Lead Generation Activities: Conduct online webinars or in-person presentations to generate qualified leads. Reporting: Provide regular reports on sales performance, financial measures, and other relevant metrics on a weekly, monthly, or quarterly basis. Requirements: Cybersecurity Expertise: The VP of Sales should be well-networked and experienced in the cybersecurity arena, with a strong ability to identify and engage with potential clients. Sales Skills: Possess the capability and insight to navigate complex solution service sales processes and effectively present cybersecurity solutions to prospects. Industry Experience: A minimum of 6 years of experience in the cybersecurity industry is required. Business Development: A minimum of 4 years of experience in leading business development efforts within cybersecurity organizations. Team Leadership: Proven experience in growing and leading high-performing sales teams. Client Base Expansion: Demonstrated success in expanding the client base for cybersecurity companies in the US market is mandatory. Cybersecurity Knowledge: Thorough knowledge of various cybersecurity technologies, including SIEM, EDR, IDS/IPS, Firewall, Vulnerability Management, Identity and Access Management, and the Zero-Trust approach, among others. This VP of Sales role is pivotal in driving the growth of your cybersecurity company in the US market.
