Proto Gage Tool & Die Inc. is a mid sized metal stamping facility located in Sterling Heights. We are looking to fill three positions. Die Repair - Ability to read prints, work on dies in press, make details, operate tool room equipment and work with our quality department to obtain a quality product. Individual must be able to troubleshoot when problems arise, work well with others, and follow directions.Hourly rate is $26.00 and $36.00 per hour. Maintenance - knowledge to perform preventative maintenance on presses, ability to evaluate, troubleshoot and repair presses, ability to perform building repairs and determine and schedule outside services when needed. Must be able to complete miscellaneous activities such as fabricating, welding and light electrical and plumbing repairs. This individual must be able to drive a forklift and have own tools.Hourly rate is $25.00 and $32.00 per hour. Janitor - Ability to work independently. The ideal candidate will have knowledge of operating a floor scrubber. This person will be respirable for cleaning restrooms, cleaning shop floors, emptying trash, and picking up scrap. This person must be self motivated and able to work well with people. Hourly rate is $16.00 per hour.We offer paid vacations and paid holidays, medical, dental and optical insurance, 401K, and yearly bonuses. Hours are 6:00 AM - 4:30 PM Monday through Friday and Saturday 6:00 AM - 12 Noon. Saturday hours are rotated. If interested please send resume to XXXX@protogage.com or walk in.
