The ideal candidate will be pivotal in providing strategic guidance and expertise across various practices, including energy transition/renewables infrastructure, white-collar investigations, space-related initiatives, compliance counseling, and oil and gas regulatory matters.Job Overview:Provide strategic guidance and expertise in government contracts and federal funding programs.Manage large projects focusing on federal regulatory compliance, particularly in the energy sector.Work collaboratively within a diverse group of practices to provide comprehensive legal support.Duties:Provide legal counsel and support on government contracts and federal funding programs.Conducted legal research, drafted legal documents, and provided analysis on complex regulatory issues.Manage client relationships and ensure compliance with applicable laws and regulations.Collaborate with attorneys and other professionals to develop and implement strategic solutions for clients.Requirements:Minimum 6 years of specialized experience in government contracts or federal funding programs for infrastructure projects.Proven track record of successfully managing large projects focusing on federal regulatory compliance.Strong organizational and time-management skills with attention to detail.Must be licensed in D.C. or eligible to waive into the D.C. Bar.Education and Certifications:Juris Doctor (J.D.) degree from an accredited law school.Admission to the District of Columbia Bar or eligibility to waive into the D.C. Bar.Skills:Excellent legal research and writing skills.Strong communication and interpersonal skills.Ability to work independently and as part of a team.Proficiency in relevant legal software and tools.
