The successful candidate will have a Juris Doctor degree from an American Bar Association accredited law school, admission (or eligibility for reciprocal admission) to the WA Bar, and at least 5 years of experience as an Estate Planning attorney. The firm is committed to providing equal pay and fostering a supportive work environment.Duties:Mediation experienceTrial experienceResearching and analyzing the law on complex legal issuesWriting memorandums, briefs, letters, and other documentsMaintaining a professional attitude with a strong sense of discretion to keep sensitive information secure and privateExcellent interpersonal communication skills when working with clients, members of the court, and other employeesStrong organizational abilities and time management skills to handle multiple cases simultaneouslyMarketing your and the firm’s services to prospective clientsPerforming discovery of various electronically stored data and hard copies of information in preparation for litigationPerforming due diligence in legal matters concerning contracts, agreements, and mergers and acquisitionsManaging a schedule to allow for consultations and closure of consults to sufficiently reach production/collection objectives, including outside core hour and weekend consultsClosing consults within the firm's range of 30-50%, depending on the practice areaTimely approval of invoices is critical to the business's health on a monthly-to-month basis. Failure to do so regularly may result in disciplinary and timely financial consequences.Ensure support staff are fully utilized and productive.Accurately and completely update CC with fees, engagement, trust, client information, invoices, etc., as required.If over-subscribed, share work tasks with other attorneys and support staff to ensure the firm meets the objective of serving communities.Actively engage in brand (personal and firm) expansion through blogs, social media posts, board and organization participation, etc.Actively seek positive comments from successful client engagements and positive star reviews.Communicating and advising clientsPerforms other job-related duties as assigned.Requirements:Excellent writing and interpersonal skillsExcellent legal research skillsJuris Doctor degree from an American Bar Association-accredited law schoolAdmission (or eligibility for reciprocal admission) to the WA Bar5+ years of experience as an Estate Planning attorneyBenefits:Insurance: Medical, dental, vision, and life insuranceRetirement: 401(k) plan with company matchingPaid time off: Unlimited PTO/FTO for vacation/sick days, paid federal holidaysPaid Volunteer Time Off: Up to 16 hours annuallyOther Compensation: Opportunity to cross-train and grow within the organizationEqual Pay
