As a Restoration Superintendent you will be responsible for the restoration phases of the construction of natural gas and oil pipelines as well as a variety of other environmental projects. You will be accountable for the overall performance of multiple crews, both week-to-week and at the end of the project. You and your direct reports will be evaluated both on financial performance of assigned projects as well as client satisfaction with the work being performed. This position will work closely with Pipeline Superintendents and Foremen. Ensure safety is never compromised. Accountable for JSA quality, discipline and compliance, defines field safety needs with safety department; explain and ensure compliance of safety program to all site personnel. Monitor and adjust resources, personnel and workflow to achieve the daily production and delivery goals. Coordinate with Foremen to determine the most effective labor planning for the project that will help drive labor efficiency. Authorize and/or approve all project personnel transactions. Inspect project sites on a weekly/bi-weekly basis and work with Foremen to ensure all projects are running smoothly. Consult with client and Project Manager on plan revisions and change orders; writes up change orders for approval; provides necessary data for accurate billing/ Order, coordinate and ensure on-time delivery of materials and supplies. Resolve problems that arise during the workday. Keep Project Manager informed of project progress' escalate issues as needed. Monitor team and employee performance and development. Provide coaching and correction when appropriate. Ensure all employees follow all policies and procedures, with strict attention to safety, per company and client standards. Prepare and send accurate and complete daily and weekly administrative reports/documents. Ensure all work is performed in compliance with federal, state and local laws, statutes and regulations. Qualifications: Bachelor’s Degree in Construction Management or comparable degree. Demonstrated related experience by be substituted for required education. Minimum of seven years of leading and managing in-field pipeline construction projects, oil and gas or related industry experience preferred. Minimum of five years of previous supervisory experience preferred. Must pass drug screening and criminal background check. To be successful you should: Have ability to work full-time including weekends and extended hours as needed. Have ability to travel and work at remote sites as needed and for extended periods. Possess excellent management relationship skills; capable of building strong internal and external relationships. Operate with high professional ethics and in accordance with Frontier’s core values. Maintain confidentiality. Demonstrate strong leadership skills, willingness to empower, trust and promote ownership within others. Demonstrate excellent communication skills (oral and written)and the ability to communicate clearly, concisely and professionally. Have good analytical and creative critical thinking skills. Possess good written and verbal communication skills and the ability to communicate clearly, concisely and professionally. Possess proficient computer skills to include Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook). Familiarity with HCSS a plus. Working Conditions: You will be required to travel frequently and often to projects which are often in remote locations. You will work outdoors in all types of weather including dry, wet and humid conditions where temperatures can range from below freezing to 90+ degrees. Exposure to noise, dust, fumes, mists, odors and vibrations. Noise level in the work environment is usually moderate to loud. Perform Medium work - Exerting up to fifty pounds of force occasionally, and/or up to twenty pounds of force frequently, and/or up to ten pounds of force constantly to move objects. See, hear, talk and perform tasks requiring manual dexterity. Climb, kneel, stand, walk crouch, stoop, reach, pull, push and other similar tasks requiring physical activity.
