Salary Range: 80,000-120,000. Advanced Technology & Research Corporation (www.atrcorp.com) is seeking to fill the following full-time permanent position. PRINCIPAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES The successful applicant will join ATR's Engineering Services Division, working as a team member at our government client site involved in execution of the emergent Infrared and Electro Optics (IREO) technology for the Navy. Other duties include, but not limited to: Perform IREO system design, integration and development for naval ships and systems Perform field testing, data acquisition and data QA Perform data processing and analysis and prepare reports Perform IREO signature predictions and conduct mitigation analysis. EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS: Minimum Bachelor degree in engineering, physics or mathematics Advanced degree is preferred. 2-3 years of data processing and analysis experience desired Job experience with the Navy or other DoD laboratories is a plus. SKILLS & ABILITIES REQUIREMENTS: Ability to conduct data acquisition and QA Ability to perform data processing and analysis Efficient with using and programming in MATLAB Strong background in physics and engineering Ability to effectively communicate orally and in writing Ability to travel and support physical activities. OTHER REQUIREMENTS: Candidate must be a US citizen with the ability to obtain and maintain a security clearance or favorable adjudication of a national security background investigation.
