We are thrilled to offer a position at Niskayuna Community Day Care Center in Schenectady, NY, US for a Teaching Assistant. As a Teaching Assistant, you will be an integral part of fostering a caring and educational setting for our young students. Your responsibilities will include supporting classroom activities, participating in hands-on learning experiences with children, and aiding in daily routines while collaborating with seasoned educators. With a pay rate of $16.00 per hour, this role provides a valuable opportunity to positively influence the lives of the children in our community. Responsibilities:• Assist lead teacher in implementing lesson plans and educational activities for students.• Provide one-on-one support to students who require additional assistance.• Maintain a safe and positive learning environment for students.• Assist with classroom management and behavior reinforcement.• Collaborate with other teaching staff to evaluate student progress and address individual needs. Qualifications:• Previous experience working with children in a daycare or educational setting• Strong communication and interpersonal skills• Ability to effectively assist in classroom management and student engagement• US Work Authorization Compensation: $16 hourly About Company: Niskayuna Community Day Care Center is a small, not-for-profit organization that has been serving Niskayuna and surrounding area families for over 30 years. We are a play-based Center that focuses on providing a safe and healthy environment for children 18 months-5 years old to learn and grow throughout their day. We are currently running with four open classrooms but we hope to open other classrooms when we have more quality staff that we can trust.
