We are seeking an Associate Attorney to become a part of our team. You will represent clients in legal proceedings both in New Jersey and Pennsylvania, draft legal documents, and work with clients on legal transactions both with businesses and individuals. A typical day consists of meeting with in-person consultations at times and then working with a team consisting of a paralegal and support staff regarding a client's legal needs. Then depending on the cases is is drafting legal pleadings and attending court when necessary for the assigned cases. Job Type: Full-time position is the preferred candidate at this time but we will review attorneys looking for part-time or just under full-time hour requirements. The successful candidate will be part of a dynamic team of caring professionals. Work Location: In person Responsibilities: --- Represent clients in court proceedings in Cinnaminson, NJ. --- Prepare legal documents, such as contracts, pleadings, briefs, appeals, and memorandum. --- Advise clients on various legal matters including business, corporate, elder law, wills and estates, condominium law, and real estate transactions. --- Ensure compliance with all relevant laws, regulations, and court rules in both New Jersey and Pennsylvania. --- Conduct thorough research to bolster cases and provide sound legal advice. --- Manage and supervise the daily operations of a law practice handling assigned cases. --- Collaborate with an assigned paralegal in a pod setting for efficient workflow. Qualifications: --- The ideal candidate must hold a valid attorney license to practice law in both New Jersey and Pennsylvania. --- A minimum of four (4) years of professional experience in the legal field is required. --- Proficiency in Estate Planning, Probate, and Homeowner Association law would be a plus but not required. --- Familiarity with various legal documents is essential for this role. --- Strong critical thinking and problem-solving skills are necessary. --- Ability to establish and maintain strong relationships with clients is a key requirement. --- Excellent written and verbal communication skills are a must. --- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and Excel is essential. --- Proactive and industrious attitude is desired. --- Experience with Amicus Attorney Case Management Software is a plus (optional). --- Positive and confident demeanor in client interactions, whether on the phone or in court, is expected. --- Ability to provide genuine support to clients during challenging times is crucial. --- Outstanding communication and listening skills are required. --- Strong attention to detail and dedication to delivering excellent results are essential. --- Ability to work effectively in a collaborative team environment is necessary. --- Commitment to upholding truthfulness and ethical standards is a non-negotiable requirement.
