Job Description Member of a construction project execution team overseeing project scoping, development of design contracts (technical specifications, cost estimates, etc), technical oversight of design, field inspections to confirm drawings/specifications and codes are met, and commissioning of projects ranging from multi-year, multi-million dollar investment projects to smaller scope, short duration projects. Initiates, leads, conducts and supports research, design, development, and testing of electrical components. Uses established work practices and processes to conduct research, design, development, troubleshooting, and testing of electrical systems and components. Electrical systems and components may include Instrumentation and Control (I&C) systems which are used to support testing or laboratory infrastructure. Required Combination of Knowledge and Skill Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university in engineering or science related field and 2 years of relevant experience; orMaster's degree from an accredited college or university in engineering or science related field and 1 year of relevant experience; or Currently or previously EOOW qualified in the Nuclear Operations Program; orSRE qualified. Preferred Skills Knowledge of industry and building trade practice, techniques, codes, and standards. Knowledge of or desire to learn about medium and low voltage permanent/temporary power distribution systems. Experience with or desire to learn about construction and/or design cost estimating. Proficiency with Microsoft Office products and computer aided design (CAD) drafting software Able to work independently and handle multiple tasks concurrently. Effective oral and written communication skills and able to interact with all levels of personnel, management, subcontractors, and government oversight. Pay Range $75,300 - $115,300 annually Note the salary information provided above is a general guideline only.
