Job Title: Project Manager Location: National Capital Region / Remote (as mission requires) Clearance: Active Top Secret (TS) with Sensitive Compartmented Information (SCI) eligibility Job Responsibilities: Lead the planning, execution, and delivery of complex projects within the Innovation & Emerging Technology Division, ensuring they are completed on time, within scope, and budget. Develop and maintain project plans, including resource allocation, timelines, and risk management strategies. Coordinate with cross-functional teams, including technical, business, and operational stakeholders, to ensure project objectives are clearly defined and met. Serve as the primary point of contact for project communications, facilitating regular updates to all stakeholders, including project teams, division management, and external partners. Implement best practices and methodologies in project management to enhance project efficiency and effectiveness. Monitor project progress, adjusting plans and resources as necessary to address challenges and ensure successful project outcomes. Ensure compliance with all relevant security protocols and guidelines, particularly in the handling and protection of sensitive and classified information. Sample Job Duties: Define project scope, goals, and deliverables in collaboration with senior management and stakeholders. Develop full-scale project plans and associated communications documents, ensuring alignment with division and organizational objectives. Identify and manage project dependencies and critical path, adjusting schedules and resources as needed to meet project milestones. Conduct project post-mortems and create recommendation reports to identify successful and unsuccessful project elements. Develop best practices and tools for project execution and management to enhance the division’s project management capabilities. Required Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in Project Management, Business Administration, Engineering, or a related field. Minimum of 7 years of experience in project management, with a proven track record of successfully managing complex projects in a technology or government setting. Strong leadership and team management skills, with the ability to motivate and guide diverse teams towards achieving project objectives. Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making abilities, with a keen attention to detail. Proficient in project management software tools, methodologies, and best practices (e.g., Agile, Scrum, PMI, PMP). Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively negotiate and resolve conflicts. Active Top Secret clearance with Sensitive Compartmented Information (SCI) eligibility. Preferred Certifications: Project Management Professional (PMP) certification or equivalent. Agile Certified Practitioner (ACP) or similar agile project management certifications. Educational Background: Bachelor's degree in a relevant field is required. A Master’s degree in Project Management or Business Administration is preferred.
