Business Title: Senior Associate, Federal Process Improvement (TS/SCI + FSP) Requisition Number: 112103 - 21 Function: Advisory Area of Interest: State: DC City: Washington Description: The KPMG Advisory practice is currently our fastest growing practiceWe are seeing tremendous client demand, and looking forward we don't anticipate that slowing downIn this ever-changing market environment, our professionals must be adaptable and thrive in a collaborative, team-driven cultureAt KPMG, our people are our number one priorityWith a wealth of learning and career development opportunities, a world-class training facility and leading market tools, we make sure our people continue to grow both professionally and personallyIf you're looking for a firm with a strong team connection where you can be your whole self, have an impact, advance your skills, deepen your experiences, and have the flexibility and access to constantly find new areas of inspiration and expand your capabilities, then consider a career in AdvisoryKPMG is currently seeking a Senior Associate to join our Federal Advisory practiceResponsibilities:--- Consulting and facilitation support with the experience and skills necessary to identify, evaluate, document, and support implementation of business process improvement solutions * Apply process improvement methodologies, including experience with process mapping, process improvement, and project management skills * Work with Sponsor to understand mission and business concerns, through meetings with Sponsor and analyze business impact and recommend improvements and/or efficiencies * Support development and maintenance of program/project charters, schedules, management plans, risk, and supporting artifacts * Provide regular reporting and communication to client and KPMG leadership and supports implementation of quality and performance standards and team adherence to the standards * Support engagement leadership in meeting contractual delivery requirements and KPMG financial targets and supports business development activities such as identification, proposal development, and other pursuit activities at clients while working with the appropriate KPMG resources from other service lined/industriesQualifications: * A minimum of three years of experience with business process analysis, mapping and improvement; U.SFederal government consulting experience preferred * Bachelor's degree from an accredited college/university; Lean Six Sigma, Change Management, and/or Knowledge Management certifications a plus * Experience in business and solution development, project/program management, and project delivery * Strong understanding of project, program, and portfolio management processes and best practices, including reporting, schedule management, risk management, quality control and project financials * Basic computer skills (Microsoft, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint);
