Requisition Number: 17873 Required Travel: 0 - 10% Employment Type: Full Time/Salaried/Exempt Security Clearance: Secret Level of Experience: Mid This opportunity resides with Live, Virtual, Constructive Solutions, a business group within HII's Mission Technologies divisionAs a trusted partner to our military customers, we design, develop and operate systems that bring together service members from across the globe to help you train like you fight, because we understand that preparation requires full coordination-not readiness in piece partsMeet HII's Mission Technologies Division Our team of more than 7,000 professionals worldwide delivers all-domain expertise and advanced technologies in service of mission partners across the globeMission Technologies is leading the next evolution of national defense - the data evolution - by accelerating a breadth of national security solutions for government and commercial customersOur capabilities range from C5ISR, AI and Big Data, cyber operations and synthetic training environments to fleet sustainment, environmental remediation and the largest family of unmanned underwater vehicles in every classFind the role that's right for youApply todayWe look forward to meeting youSummary HII Mission Technologies is seeking a Database/Scenario Mgt SME to provide Mission Training Complex Capabilities Support II (MTCCS) technical and functional Constructive Simulation and Gaming support to TRADOC Centers of Excellence (COE) and SchoolsThis work provides technical and functional end-to-end simulation to Mission Command Systems (MCS) training functionality using TRADOC Proponent Office - Constructive (TPO-C) low overhead simulations and TRADOC Proponent Office - Virtual & Gaming (TPO-V&G) gamesSimulations and tools such as Army Games for Training (GFT), Virtual Battle Space (VBS), and Division eXercise Training and Review System (DXTRS) are employed to enhance staff training at the lower continuum of training thresholds with the purpose of enhancing Military Decision Making Process (MDMP) and staff training in each respective TRADOC Institutions training curriculum#LI-SC1 What you will do--- Designs, develops, builds, analyzes, evaluates and installs database management systems to include database modeling and design, relational database architecture, metadata and repository creation and configuration management. * Uses data mapping, data mining and data transformational analysis tools to design and develop databasesDetermines data storage and optimum storage requirements. * Prepares system requirements, source analysis and process analyses and design throughout the database implementation. What you must have--- 2 years relevant experience with Bachelors in related field; 0 years experience with Masters in related field; or High School Diploma or equivalent and 6 years relevant experience.--- In some cases, educational requirements may be adjusted or waived for applicable work experienceWork experience may be adjusted for highly specialized knowledge or uniquely applicable experience. * Experience in unit and scenario development for DXTRS and GFT design and development for end-to-end mappings/connective in support of the entire training architectureExpert knowledge in all aspects of DXTRS - technical, functional, and database.--- Experience in technical disciplines such as computer science or engineering and in performing capability development and R and M tasksExperience in developing and executing functional vignettes for test events and planning and executing OREs.--- Experience in providing technical advice for DXTRS and GFT development and hardware and software maintenance as it relates to the LVC-G Training Environment. * Experience in operating simulations, simulators, models, games and MCS. * Experience in database management and/or systems management on systems within JLCCTC, GFT and MCS * Must have a current or active DoD Secret Clearance and be able to maintain clearance throughout employment.--- Must be a U.Scitizen#LI-SC3 Preferred Requirements--- Experience in military doctrine and training management, capability development, and Command and General Staff College graduate or equivalent.--- Expertise in creating computer graphics and design technologies to develop web designs, printed media, and news and video-based publications.
