It's a question we never stop answering at Lockheed MartinWe are recruiting for a Systems Engineer to be part of the highly innovative Simulation System Test (SST) organization, responsible for developing and maintaining Aviation Simulation Systems utilized for systems development from concept design through production and deliveryWithin SST resides an extensive selection of simulators and software/systems integration test capabilitiesOur products are used to advance Avionic systems development, strengthen pilot familiarization, assess human factors, evaluate aircraft control laws, improve mission study effectiveness, provide test capabilities required for contract verification, and provide integration testing and verification capabilities for aircraft systems and softwareYou should bring to the table your experience gained while pursuing a science, technology, engineering, or math degree with a desire to learn and take on new challengesThis position will offer an opportunity to apply system engineering techniques to impact the direction of products to design, develop, test, and support Shared Simulation Software products for multiple programsThis position will require up to 20% travel depending on final work locationYou will need to be a US Citizen, and currently possess and be able to maintain a US DoD SECRET clearance, to support this government contract, as well as successfully pass a drug and background check, in order to meet eligibility requirements for access to classified informationThis position is located at a facility that requires special access and a security clearanceWhat's In It For You: 3 day weekends every weekend!
