Practice Area: Criminal Law - Defense, Job Type: Attorney, Firm Type: Law Firm, Experience: 3 Years, A law firm is seeking a Junior to Mid-level Code Enforcement Attorney for their Riverside office. The attorney will primarily handle code enforcement and gun confiscation cases for municipal clients. The ideal candidate will have 3-5 years of experience and be licensed in California. Experience in public safety matters, as well as civil and criminal prosecution, is advantageous. Duties:Represent municipal clients in code enforcement cases.Handle gun confiscation cases.Conduct legal research and analysis.Draft legal documents, including complaints, motions, and briefs.Represent clients in court proceedings.Communicate with clients, opposing counsel, and other stakeholders.Provide legal advice and counsel to municipal clients. Requirements:Must be licensed to practice law in California.3-5 years of legal experience.Experience in public safety matters preferred.Experience in civil and criminal prosecution is a plus. Education:Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school. Certifications:Active license to practice law in California. Skills:Strong legal research and analytical skills.Excellent written and verbal communication abilities.Litigation and courtroom advocacy skills.Ability to work independently and collaboratively.Attention to detail and organizational skills.
