Description:

The Research Computing Specialist within the College of Behavioral and Social Sciences (BSOS) performs an important role as part of the IT operations team. This position will not only provide support to research computing platforms, but will also collaborate with faculty to provide programming assistance for high performance computing applications. Additionally, a key part of this position will be focused on providing experiential learning support and development; this may include support of college level hosted and managed cloud-based initiatives such as the BSOS RStudio, Virtual Computing Lab & Jupyter Hub cloud based environments. End-user support and assistance will also be included as part of experiential learning responsibilities.
