Lead initiative to improve and to revamp the current reports/ reporting processes in order to provide new insights which will improve the decision-making process for Gas Operations. Continually work toward establishing single reporting repository where possible to reduce data duplication and quality issues, ensuring an up to date reporting catalog is maintained. To act as the system administrator and analyst for the Company's Management System and other I.T. Systems used by gas operations. Principal Accountabilities 25% Compliance Reporting: Assist with the development, analysis, and reporting out of Gas Operations compliance. Included but not limited to:* Monthly reporting required regulatory compliance activities and hit lines* Annual Inactive Service Inventory Reporting* Periodic data requires that come in from Gas Operations and state/federal regulators.* Support data extraction and analytics for Leakage Program ensuring adherence to regulatory requirements.20% Data QA/QC and OQ Administration: Establish process for identifying areas in which data QA/QC should occur and execute on development, analysis and report out of those QA/QC assessments. Areas of focus shall include but aren't limited to:* Daily QA/QC monitoring to ensure milestones are met and monthly reporting onfindings and open exceptions* Periodic QA/QC on identified poor/very poor pipe conditions within O&M required time frames* Data attribute collection assessmentIn addition to the data QA/QC support would provide support in OQ administration which includes but not limited to:* Assessing employees OQ statuses to ensure no required qualifications expire* Schedule the Prometric and Astar appointments for OQ testing* Schedule progression and legacy students for OQ training opportunities* Assist with monthly technical training and quality management newsletter25% Pipeline Safety Management System: Assists with data analytics and report to support the Pipeline Safety Management System (PSMS). Responsibilities include but are not limited to: * Assist with development of Operationally focused dashboards that would pull from systems such as DigTix, LocusView, GIS, etc.* Assist with integration and analysis of data as the Company transitions to other work management and systems platforms.* Help to create shared engagement "hubs" between regions and functions* Investigate and aid in the implementation of new applications to strengthen communication and data collection in the field.30% I.T. System Administration and System Analyses: Responsible for the system administration for all operational technology used by gas operations for the implementation of the operation, construction and maintenance of the Company's distribution and transmission systems. These responsibilities include:* Works with project stakeholders to identify and prioritize Gas Operations software system requirements to communicate to internal/external development teams end product requirements.* Ensures quality standards of the software development process by confirming that the system adheres to documented requirements.* Collects and analyses IT system data to meet regulatory requirements and inquiries.* Provide project management support for gas operations software enhancements and new application roll outsAs Needed Capitalizes on unplanned opportunities and responds to unforeseen situations; undertakes and completes assignments and special projects as assigned by management. Collaborates with other personnel within the Operations group and provides assistance and auxiliary support in their absence Qualifications * Bachelor of Science Degree in curriculum compatible with the requirements of this position or equivalent related educational background and work experience.* Minimum of 5 years related experience related to data quality, reporting, data analysis, information technology. * Technical writing skills, SQL knowledge (read & write), able to present and to communicate findings to technical as well as to business audiences. Professional working proficiency in with Microsoft Office.* Understanding of Data Management practices.* Experience in Tableau/Power BI/BO/Agile Methodology or similar platforms.* Strong technical and analytical ability with project management experience.
