We are currently seeking a motivated Medical Scheduler to join our corporate team in Woodland Park, NJ. As a Medical Scheduler you will play a crucial role in providing excellent customer service and ensuring smooth operations within our medical practice. The ideal candidate should have prior experience as a medical receptionist, possess knowledge of health insurance guidelines, be a team player, and be passionate about delivering top-notch service to our patients. Responsibilities: Responding to incoming calls in a courteous and professional manner Scheduling appointments for patients and managing the appointment calendar efficiently. Entering and updating patient demographics accurately for both new and established patients in the system. Verifying patient insurance eligibility through various insurance portals Assisting patients with inquiries regarding their appointments, insurance coverage, and general queries about the medical practice Collaborating with other team members to ensure seamless coordination of patient care. Qualifications: Previous work experience as a Medical Receptionist or Medical Scheduler Exceptional verbal and written communication skills Proficient data entry and typing skills with a high level of accuracy. Ability to multitask and handle multiple calls and tasks simultaneously.
