You'll have the chance to put your skills to the test, selecting appropriate suppliers to quote contractual Requirements and SpecificationsWe're looking for candidates with 10+ years of experience in Supply Chain Management in the field of electronics and electro-mechanical products. Extensive experience in purchasing and managing buyers of electronic products, PCB's, and mechanical parts for commercial, industrial, and military applications. Overview of your day-to-day Select appropriate suppliers to quote contractual requirements and specifications Negotiate best value through long-term agreements, package pricing, target setting or forecasting Utilize MTS MPS to generate electronic purchase orders Assist sales and marketing departments with current market pricing and estimates Follow-up with vendors to assure on-time delivery Follow-up with vendors in case expediting is requested by the project or department managers What qualifies you? We're looking for a professional with leadership skills and a knack for solving problems. Applicants must meet the following criteria: 10+ years of experience in supply chain management in the field of electronics and electro-mechanical products Extensive experience in purchasing and managing buyers of electronic products, printed circuit boards, and mechanical parts for commercial, industrial, and military applications Excellent negotiation skills and knowledge of APICs inventory management Proficient in Microsoft Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and Outlook Great organizational skills Great verbal and written communication skills and phone etiquette, along with the ability to handle multiple tasks and work collaboratively as part of a team What's in it for you?
