One of our premier clients is looking for an IT Security Architect in Richmond, VA (HYBRID) for a contract position. RESPONSIBILITIES: Help the team resolve possible security threats and identify areas of weakness in client's network system. Respond promptly and effectively to possible breaches of security.Help cultivate a culture of security awareness, continuing education of personnel, and to ensure security policies are always adhered to. Develop, review, and approve installation requirements for LANs, WANs, VPNs, firewalls, routers, and related network devices. Determine security protocols by evaluating business strategies and requirements. R Respond to, and investigate, security incidents and provide thorough post-event analyses. REQUIRED SKILLS: Cloud Experience (AWS, Azure, GCP) Knowledge of NIST 800-53, ISO 27001 Fed Ramp Knowledge Security Controls/Protocols IT Risk Knowledge Develops, reviews, and approves installation requirements for LANs, WANs, VPNs, firewalls, routers, and related network devices.
