The ideal candidate will possess experience in real property tax litigation, assessment challenges, valuation issues, and eminent domain matters. Strong verbal, writing, and interpersonal skills are essential for this role. Duties:Handle real property tax litigation cases.Assist in assessment challenges and valuation disputes.Represent clients in eminent domain matters.Conduct legal research and analysis.Draft legal documents, including pleadings, motions, and briefs.Communicate with clients, opposing counsel, and courts. Requirements:Must be licensed to practice law in New York State.1-3 years of experience as a practicing attorney in real property, tax, or litigation.Strong verbal, writing, and interpersonal skills.Ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines effectively.Detail-oriented with strong analytical skills.Demonstrated ability to work independently and as part of a team. Education:Juris Doctor (J.D.) degree from an accredited law school. Certifications:Admission to the New York State Bar. Skills:Proficiency in legal research and writing.Excellent oral advocacy skills.Familiarity with real property tax laws and procedures.Knowledge of eminent domain principles and procedures.Ability to analyze complex legal issues and provide sound advice.Strong negotiation skills.Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and legal research databases.
