Planned Parenthood Federation of America (PPFA) is a 501(c)(3) charitable organization that supports the independently incorporated Planned Parenthood affiliates operating health centers across the U.S. Planned Parenthood Action Fund is an independent, nonpartisan, not-for-profit membership organization formed as the advocacy and political arm of Planned Parenthood Federation of America. The Action Fund engages in educational, advocacy, and electoral activity, including grassroots organizing, legislative advocacy, and voter education. Purpose: *The Identity and Access Management (IAM) Engineer will be responsible for designing, implementing, and managing robust identity and access management solutions to safeguard sensitive information and ensure compliance with regulatory standards. *You will collaborate with cross-functional teams, lead IAM initiatives, and contribute to the development and execution of the company's overall security strategy. *The work of an IAM Engineer requires a deep understanding of security principles, risk management, and technology. *The right candidate will collaborate with various stakeholders, including IT teams, security teams, and business units, to implement effective and efficient identity and access management solutions. The difficulty of the work increases with the complexity of the organization's IT environment and the evolving landscape of cybersecurity threats. Delivery : *Deploy Privileged Access Management solutions in a large, distributed environment.*Lead activities to ensure that IAM systems are compliant with customer policies and standards.*Perform the configuration, administration, and management of Okta systems, such as LDAP-related services, across the enterprise.*Provide engineering support for complex and recurring incidents related to IAM platforms and perform root causes analysis in accordance with customer policies and standards.*Resolve incidents escalated from the Service Desk related to user IDs, credentials, and access.*Implement customizations to address customer business requirements.*Ensure processing and response to OKTA requests to deliver premium security and Access Management services to the organization.*Participate in security and application troubleshooting and incident problem resolutions with other infrastructure teams, including storage, messaging, server, and network.*Participate in Okta reviews to improve IAM. Engagement: *Supports the IT Operations Director of Network Architecture and Infrastructure and Operations team in development and deployment of IAM solutions.*Work closely with cross-functional teams, including IT, security, and compliance.*Act as a subject matter expert in IAM during incident response activities.*Troubleshoot and resolve complex IAM-related issues.*Integrate IAM solutions with other security and IT systems including AWS, Google Cloud, Microsoft Azure, and other LDAP services.*Implement automation to streamline IAM processes and enhance efficiency.*Establish and enforce access controls and policies.*Conduct regular access reviews and audits to ensure compliance.*Oversee the entire identity lifecycle, including provisioning, de-provisioning, and access review processes.*Implement and manage Single Sign-On (SSO) solutions.*Lead the design and architecture of scalable and secure IAM solutions.*Develop and implement IAM policies, procedures, and best practices. Knowledge, Skills and Abilities (KSAs): *Bachelor's degree and 5+ years of experience in developing, implementing, and supporting Identity & Access Management products, capabilities & services.*5+ years managing IAM tools in an engineering role. Experience with more than one of: Microsoft Active Directory, Azure AD and OKTA will be highly preferred.*Knowledge and experience with Identity Management technologies like SSO, SCIM, OAuth, SAML, Encryption, PKI.*Act as a subject matter expert for OKTA life cycle management, and experience with Active Directory, LDAP, SSO, SAML, auto-provisioning, or automating complex infrastructures.*Okta Certified Administrator preferred*Knowledge of Microsoft technology such as Server, AD, DNS, Group Policy, and Office 365/Exchange, Azure*Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written are required.*Solid understanding of how Role Based Access Control (RBAC) works in large, distributed environments.*Solid understanding of cybersecurity principles and best practices.*Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.*Experience working with PAM systems *Experience with MFA protocols and techniques. TRAVEL: Up to 10% travel on occasion.
