We are seeking a dynamic and experienced professional with a 24/7/365 mindset to join our organization as the Vice President of Product Innovation & Industrial Transformation, focusing on the start-up and development of the Company’s digital initiatives and transformation projects. The successful candidate will play a pivotal role in shaping and implementing our transformative strategy related to next generation customer facing solutions that leverage cutting-edge technologies across the commercial aviation industry. Once the solutions are developed and adopted, the successful candidate will be the top candidate for the role of Sr. Vice President and/or President of the Digital Innovation Group. Responsibilities: Build and manage a strategy of new and existing industry alliances, collaborations, and partnerships. Provide leadership, adoption, and integration of digital technologies across the commercial aviation industry by defining strategic positioning and options such as new opportunities, portfolio adjustments, technologies, and solutions that are consistent with business objectives. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and integrate emerging technologies that ensure best practices and support company-wide quality and safety of flight initiatives. · Drive the industry’s digital transformation, identifying opportunities for innovation and efficiency improvement across all the industry’s business functions.Spearhead the development and implementation of digital enhancements for traceability and part integrity, including but not limited to IoT, AI, NFTs, APIs, and data analytics. Collaborate and lead project management with vendors and partners to evaluate, select, and implement technology solutions that align with business objectives. Monitor and report on key performance indicators, making data-driven decisions to enhance efficiency. Ownership and responsibility of P&L. Develop and manage budgets, ensuring financial discipline and accountability and identify and evaluate potential funding sources, including venture capital, private equity, strategic partnerships, joint ventures, and government grants. Develop a fundraising strategy to bring in institutional investors and lead the business unit efforts to raise capital. Develop presentations and pitch materials for investor meetings, ensuring alignment with enterprise strategic goals and collaborating with cross-functional teams to gather relevant financial data to create compelling investment proposals. Qualifications: MBA or Master’s Degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Engineering or a related field. Proven track record in senior leadership roles, demonstrating a strong business orientation and a track record of driving business growth through technology innovation. Entrepreneurial spirit with a passion for identifying and seizing business opportunities, combined with a deep understanding of how technology can be leveraged to create value. Exceptional leadership, communication, and collaboration skills, essential for building and leading high-performing teams in a dynamic business environment.
