In this role, you will play a key role in shaping and implementing our communication strategies to engage our members, attract visitors, and enhance our outreach efforts. If you are passionate about leveraging communication tools and platforms to connect people with our churchs ministries, mission and values, we invite you to apply.**Responsibilities:** Develop and execute comprehensive communication strategies to effectively convey the mission, values, and ministries of the church. Manage all communication channels, including website, social media platforms, email newsletters, and print materials. Create and curate engaging content such as videos, graphics, and announcements for various communication channels. Collaborate with church staff, volunteers, and ministry leaders to gather information and updates for communication purposes. Monitor and respond to inquiries, comments, and messages received through communication channels in a timely and professional manner. Coordinate promotional campaigns for special events, programs, and initiatives within the church community and beyond. Utilize analytics and feedback mechanisms to evaluate the effectiveness of communication efforts and make necessary adjustments.Recruit, train, schedule and support volunteers involved in communication-related tasks, ensuring they have the necessary skills and resources.**Qualifications:** Bachelors degree in communications, marketing, public relations, or a related field. Relevant experience may be considered in lieu of a degree. Previous experience in communications, marketing, or public relations, preferably in a nonprofit or religious organization context. Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to convey messages clearly and effectively to diverse audiences. Proficiency in using various communication tools and platforms, including website management systems, social media management tools, and email marketing software. Creative mindset with the ability to generate engaging content and innovative communication ideas. Excellent organizational and project management skills, with the ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines simultaneously. Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to collaborate effectively with diverse teams and stakeholders. Commitment to the mission and values of the church, with sensitivity to the needs and preferences of the congregation. Flexibility to work occasional evenings and weekends for special events or urgent communication needs. Familiarity with graphic design principles, video editing, and photography is a plus.
