Professor of Biochemistry/Chemistry (open rank) The University of Mary in Bismarck, ND seeks qualified applicants for a full-time Professor of Biochemistry/Chemistry at any rank (commensurate with experience and qualifications) beginning September 2024. The hired faculty member will have teaching responsibilities within the Organic Chemistry and Biochemistry curriculum. Opportunities for developing and teaching advanced courses in the applicant’s area(s) of interest/expertise will be encouraged. A PhD in Chemistry or Biochemistry and demonstrated experience teaching at the college level are required. Biochemistry is a new and growing major at UMary, and faculty are expected to engage in student-centered undergraduate research and consider participating in our funded, well-developed, and active summer undergraduate research experience ( www.umary.edu/SURVE ). Candidates with program leadership experience are especially encouraged to apply. Review of applications will begin immediately and continue until the position is filled.
