As a Maintenance Multicraft Mechanic, your role in the bigger picture is to manage the preventative and routine maintenance to improve the functionality and safe working order of our manufacturing equipment and machinery. You will handle projects that span the spectrum of electrical, hydraulic, mechanical, pneumatics, and welding responsibilities. We ll always challenge you to think: What s Next ?**This position offers a starting rate of $29.75/hour and a $5,000 sign-on bonus**Apply basic electrical and electronic principals in the installation, troubleshooting and maintenance of plant systemsTroubleshoot and maintain plant electrical and electronic equipment to competent level including operator interfaces, PLCs, process controllers, power supplies, etc.Make minor repairs on general plant machinery such as fans, blowers, conveyors, belts, mechanical and screw conveyorsTroubleshoot, calibrate, and program VFDs and PLC systemsInstall and maintain switch gears, control wiring and components, over-current and overload protection for plant motors including three phase systemsRead, update and build electrical schematics and documentationPerform all other duties as assignedREQUIREMENTSHigh School Diploma or GED Equivalent1+ years of maintenance experience in a manufacturing, technical, warehouse, industrial, military or related environment OR a two-year technical degree completedThe approximate hourly pay for this position is $29.75 an hour for Maintenance Technician D. The pay progression plan follows: Maintenance Technician C $30.50, Maintenance Technician B $32.00, Maintenance Technician B+ $32.50, Maintenance Technician A $33.00, and Maintenance Technician A+ $33.80. Please note that the pay range provided is a good faith estimate for the position at the time of posting.
